The Montevideo Public School Board unanimously selected three semi-finalists to interview for the school district’s superintendent position. The semi-finalists are:
Aimee Fearing, Director of Early Learning and Engagement, Fridley Public Schools, MN
Barry Schmidt, Superintendent, Jackson County Central, MN
Jamie Skjeveland, Superintendent, Crosby-Ironton School District, MN
The semi-finalists were selected from a pool of applicants based on criteria established by the school board, as well as survey input provided by Montevideo staff and members of the public.
The school board has scheduled interviews for the semi-finalists beginning at 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
All interviews will be held at the Montevideo Middle School Board Room and are open to the public. To ensure a level playing field for all candidates the interviews will not be livestreamed or recorded.
