Home Visits

Home visits are available for individual families.  A Home Visitor can bring early childhood activities and parent information to your home or other appropriate site, with activities based on your needs and your child’s needs.  Contact the ECFE office to set-up an appointment.

ECFE Outreach Programs: 

An early childhood teacher provides stories, craft ideas, finger plays, songs, puppets, and parent information.  The teacher also advertises ECFE programming and provides a service to the families present.  Current ECFE Outreach Programs are....
Pop in and Play - ECFE Staff and High School volunteers visit home-based childcare centers using our favorite books as themes for learning activities and circle time activities

Prenatal Classes - ECFE stops in at the Chippewa County Hospital during monthly birthing classes.  We share developmental information, program offerings, and school readiness information for expectant parents.

Family Events

Affordable and fun community wide family events are offered in the fall (vehicle fair), winter (supper with Santa), and spring (traveling programs vary).
