Achievement and Integration

The purpose of the Achievement and Integration program is to pursue racial and economic integration, increase student achievement, and reduce academic disparities in Minnesota's Public Schools.

Districts eligible to participate in this program include those districts with a collaborative integration plan on file with the commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Education.  Montevideo participates with six other school districts in the West Central Integration Collaborative.

Montevideo Public Schools goals are to close the achievement gap in Math between students qualifying for free and reduced lunch and students not qualifying for free and reduced lunch while raising overall math achievement for all students .  Montevideo's Achievement and Integration plan can be accessed below.
