Goal 1.1 (MCA; Building Level)

For the 2014-2015 school year, 4th-7th grade students will take the MCA Math test.  As a building, 64.5% (up from 59.5% in 2014) of 4th-7th grade students will reach the levels of meets or exceeds standard (proficiency) in Math.

Goal 1.2 (NWEA: Grade Level)

For the 2014-2015 school year, 4th-7th graders will take the NWEA math test in both the Fall and Spring.  (Using Spring 2015 Scores) The number of 5th grade students testing low in math will be 26.5% or lower (up from 31.5% in 2014).

Goal 2.1 (Building Level Achievement Gap)

This goal will attempt to reduce the achievement gap between the lowest socioeconomic students in 4th-7th grade as compared to the students of higher socioeconomic status.  The low socioeconomic group will be identified as students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch (FRP).  The higher socioeconomic group will be non-FRP students.  The achievement measure used will be NWEA test in Math.  The NWEA scores from 2014 indicate a building level achievement gap of 22.3% in math.  The highest achievement gap is in 5th grade and is 30.1%. (Using Spring 2015 Scores) The 5th grade achievement gap in math will be reduced to 25.1% or lower as measured by NWEA scores in the Spring of 2015.
